Abstract


University is one of the formal education institutions that have a prerogative in curriculum development. It is based on goverment policy for Higher Education, which can be developed deconcentrated. Therefore, the need for innovation of curriculum development is to achieve the objectives of the curriculum 2013. Curriculum innovation is certainly adjusted to several supporting factors that have been owned by universities, such as infrastructure, culture, quality of lectures, the character of learners, and so on.

University is also one of the external factors in curriculum development, which is developed science, technology, and arts, that support content and learning media in the curriculum. The curriculum is expected to conduct education as a bridge toward the fulfillment of Stakeholder need in particular that leads to fulfillment 21st century revolutions.

The researcher will use qualitative research by looking the data from information goverment, online news, journal, and several experted research. The researcher hopes that this research can be a useful resources and benchmark for developing curriculum, especially at universities in Indonesia.
